| How much money would you need to make you happy?
Would enough to pay off your debts be satisfying, or would you like to be really offensively rich?

| $1 million might do it. My retirement could pay off debt, fix what needs fixed on our property, and the million would allow me to retire and pay for health insurance. And that's no so far-fetched, considering that a co-worker who just retired is paying almost $1500 per month for her insurance. That's $18k per year, before rates go up. If I live another 15 years based on that rate then that's $270,000!
Yes, I'd sign up for Medicare, anyway!

| Right now I'd settle for just being able to pay off my debts. | |

| It really wouldn't take much, but just to throw out a random figure…$500k-$1million would put a grin on my face. | |

| I'm already happy, however another 500/1000 per month would make life a lot simpler. | |

| I live a fairly frugal life, have no debts and can afford the few luxuries that I do enjoy. However, one bad illness/injury would end that and I would then be destitute.
So, I guess a margin of money to keep me where I am at would be the vague answer to that. Also, I am giving financial support to unemployed relatives - so a U.S. Senators undeserved income of $174,000 a year is the amount of money I need. (And, that fucking Senator can go live on the streets where they all belong.)

| I'd be happy to just have the bills paid. If I had an abundance there are people I would take care of, but just for me I really don't need a lot. | |

If a money tree grew enough cash to just cover my monthly expenses, that would be enough for me. Just to play along, though, two million tax-free dollars would hit the spot.
