I would go see what my Great-Great Grampa, "Doc" Robertson did in the Civil War.
I sometimes feel that I have connection with late 19th Century London (Sherlock Holmes - Oscar Wilde) Would probably want to go see Doyle (maybe hook up with Wilde - share some rent-boys).

Just ONE trip? If I could only go ONCE, and stay as long as I wanted before returning (because I would come back at the same point in time the same age when I left) I would probably go to America 1875--1915.
