I guess it won't officially be over until I drag the tree carcass to the road. Gonna do that the first of the week. The city plans to mulch them.

Yes and no. I think today is actually a lousy New Years Day, if only because it's Sunday...which doubles there being nothing to do. I enjoyed the holiday season, but am ready to move on from it and get back to normal.

Yes...always sad to see Christmas go and we have to take down all the decorations for another year but it's a sign we're that much closer to spring.

Well, the holidays aren't over everywhere. Very soon the Mardi Gras season will begin, those lucky Louisianans. The parades and balls start quite a ways before Fat Tuesday.
