Yup, not to neighbors, but friends and family. I also don't ever mind accepting leftovers.

I usually try to incorporate leftovers into other meals, so they don't go to waste. The only thing I don't really save is stale bread and crackers--those I dump at the rear of my property, outside, so the animals and birds can pick at them.

Years ago we had neighbors with a teenage son who was a garbage monger, always hungry. So he got the left overs. They had plenty of money but the kid would eat anything and everything.

If they've been to our home for the meal we'll usually send food home with them but we ain't making a special trip like meals on wheels.

I rarely do and when I do it is usually just left over dessert.
