My son laughed for the first time today.

While finishing up a diaper change this evening, my son laughed for the first time as I teased him. I wish I had been recording it.

Awwwwwww how sweet!!

Ok, this is going to seem so lame, but I was just thinking today while working at my kitchen table that you have not mentioned your son much at all. I was thinking, "I respect he wants to keep that separate from the forum, but it would be cool to hear how he is doing and how Chris is doing with a newborn."

So, now I read this and I feel very teary because I know it must really tickle you to your core to have mentioned it to all of us!! Thank you for sharing. I just had a conversation with someone over the weekend on how it takes dads such a long time to appreciate the small stuff...Chris, you are apparently an exception, and that is way too cool!!

The first giggles are the absolute best, best, best!!!

Awwwwwwwwwww that is really sweet Chris. I love little babies they are so much fun to play with especially when they laugh!

There is nothing in the world like a baby's laughter, unless it is those darling gummy smiles. When a baby laughs I always end up laughing with them, its so infectious.

You just not not laugh with them as they do. My son is a bit on the reserved side, thus far; so this was a big deal. When his sister was his age, she was a lot more playful. I think she started giggling at about one month old.
