If so, what version is it? I have a King James Bible, a New International Bible, and a Living Bible. My friend also suggested I find a study Bible.

Re: Do you have a Bible?
I've got two Bibles. (pretty good for an agnostic, heh?)
My primary is a New Testament Revised Standard Version last revised in 1946 - almost my age. It was this worn, cloth bound book that I read the Gospel by kerosene lamp in my cabin in the woods in 1970. I recommend reading it while living in year one technology.
Then I picked up a complete Bible, King James Version with dictionary for reference.

As far as bible's go, I prefer the New Living Translation. I find it to be the most "readable" and also the most accurate in terms of translating the "intent" of the author, in contemporary language. I also find that it has less "errors" in translation than either the KJV or the NIV.

I don't anymore, not sure what happened to mine. I received one for a Christmas gift MANY years back. I believe it was King James Version.

Re: Do you have a Bible?
I have several. All of the most popular--
KJV, NIV, Full LIfe Study Bible, Book of Mormon accompanied by the Pearl of Great Price & Doctrines and Covenants (D&C), the Tanakh, the New World Translation and I think I have the new and improved King James in real English... After I "retire" I hope to start reading the quran.

Yep, King James here. Bring it along on every excursion and read from it most nights.

Re: Do you have a Bible?
I have had small ones here and there, but I'm pretty sure they're long gone by now.

That reminds me of a joke, I guess W.C. Fields did it, I know a guy who impersonates him and Bob Hope and Red Skelton did it last year at our theater. "I checked into a motel and was reading the Gideon Bible to see what's new. I found a note in it 'do you have a drinking problem? If so, call this number. So I dialed it up, 'Ace's liquor store'."
