    I would choose faith because in doing so, I trust God to take care of my family as He sees fit. To forfeit eternal salvation for a short time on Earth seems foolish to me; having enough faith in God means that I trust that I will see my family again someday, so in giving them up now, I would still be with them again at some point in time. Hard concept to grasp and may sound selfish to some, but that's my thought process.
