Re: Interesting bugs/insects
Ichneumon Wasps always fascinated me because they are not afraid of ppl and often can be coaxed to sit on your finger.
They are quite small and don't sting, but sometimes will be inside. I usually walk them back outside, sitting on my finger.

Neither. I did enjoy watching the special on insects in the Life series on the Discovery Channel though.

Nah....I'm not even keen on those nature programs Ny was talking about. Fuck a bug.

I was interested in them when I was a kid. Now they are totally uninteresting to me, however I will allow them to live as long as they stay out doors!

Re: Interesting bugs/insects
I think the prettiest bugs are monarch butterflies.
But the "coolest" bugs are definitely fireflies (aka "lightning bugs")
I remember me and my cousins trying to catch these as a kid.
Glowworms are pretty cool too (for the same reason).

Re: Interesting bugs/insects
Monarch butterflies are the best! My son had one emerge here and it was so cool. Honestly, I was thinking of posting the pics here because a forum post on another site talked about her son having it happen. But then I saw all the pics are messed up in different files.
It was so cool to see it emerge and then get the wings all ready to go and then fly away.
