| Are you a fan of any bugs or insects; or rather, do you find any bugs/insects to be fascinating? | |

| Neither. I did enjoy watching the special on insects in the Life series on the Discovery Channel though. | |

| I was interested in them when I was a kid. Now they are totally uninteresting to me, however I will allow them to live as long as they stay out doors! | |

| I think the prettiest bugs are monarch butterflies. But the "coolest" bugs are definitely fireflies (aka "lightning bugs") I remember me and my cousins trying to catch these as a kid. Glowworms are pretty cool too (for the same reason). | |

| Monarch butterflies are the best! My son had one emerge here and it was so cool. Honestly, I was thinking of posting the pics here because a forum post on another site talked about her son having it happen. But then I saw all the pics are messed up in different files.
It was so cool to see it emerge and then get the wings all ready to go and then fly away. | |

| Since I have been in North Carolina, I am discovering all types of new bugs. The most important one being FIRE ANTS. I also found out about COW KILLER WASPS (velvet ants).. [img] [/img] | |
