Is Inez the scum of the earth?

Or will she have a valid reason for letting her boys be raised by an abusive father while she raised Nate in a loving home? I can't wait to hear her story.

I'm thinking that he was abusive to her, but not hte boys at that point, and that he threatened her life and hte boys if she didn't leave, promising he'd never lay a hand on them or something. She was obviously young when she married Ford Senior. Maybe she left out of fear that he would hurt her seriously enough to cause a miscarriage? She seems very loving, so I dno't think she'd leave without good reason, but I guess only time will tell.

Poor James already things she's nuts, though, so it should be interesting - lol!

I do wanna hear her excuse for running. She would be scum for leaving her boys with an abuser, but since I'm not hating her yet I'll listen to what she has to say.

I'd love to see that happen, Sue! It would be amazing and Nic and Trevor have the talent to pull it off, I think. It would be great to see Todd's past explored a bit more.

I don't think so, I think she was pregnant and running for her life when she left and assume that no matter what, he wouldn't hurt his kids. Guess she underestimated him.

Of course if she was pregnant, no I can't see deserting two boys to an abusive man to shelter one unborn, doesn't make sense to me. If she knowingly left them them behind for any reason and fled for her own safety and never even tried to contact them all this time, she is shameful, imo.

ITA pisces! If she just left them like that, knowing that the Dad was abusive. I think TPTB will go the route of having her thinking the boys were safe and that he wouldn't hurt them, just her.

The only Ford I even remotely care about is James so not thrilled to see a long Inez sob backstory.

With that said, I can see she was obviously very young and living with an abusive SOB and raising two little kids in fear for her life. So she winds up pregnant yet again, he hits so bad she almost loses baby so she flees to save unborn child. Since the dad to that point hadn't abused the two boys, she thinks they will be safe?

Also, we know Ford's dad is a criminal, maybe in the mob so Inez knew she'd never get custody... she fled to save one child b/c couldn't save the other two?

How stupid would she have to be to think the man beating her would be good to her kids? Wait and see I guess, I am sure TIIC will come up with something to explain it.

All I know is that they're going to have to bring on this abusive dad in order to make it resonate, otherwise it's gonna seem a lot like Melinda's death.

Inez is a whining coward, she put her well being above her chilkdren. She is scum.

I think we'll have some interesting stories dealing with the ford bros' and Inez' abandonment of them and that she saved Nate but not them. I hope we get lots of drama and that they don't just accept her and live happily ever after. I like her but I"m really not happy that she left those boys to a Dad like Ford. Sr.

After today, it proves Inez didn't leave her kids on purpose, her husband threw her out and wouldn't allow her access to her kids. I just knew it.

So,it is okay to shrug and say, I was thrown out and my husband threatened my youngest child, so I will flee with him and leave my other two as hostages to my well being? Not me, I would do whatever was needed to make sure all my children were safe. Inez is not worth spitting on if she did that, imo.

EDDIE FORD? surely the writers will make this s/l make sense.
