    I think this is such a cute idea. Using the tall glass jars makes more sense than plastic, in my opinion. Plus it looks cool!

    In the South, everything is sold in Mason jars.

    Back in the '70s they were selling homegrown grass in the 1 pint jars - seemed kinda novel to those of us used to buying it in baggies. There were even jokes in Mississippi about the righteous 'Columbian' grass they were selling.

    No, because I like to mix up my salad while I'm eating it and it would difficult to do so in a mason jar.
