It's typical lol. Getting something for nothing isn't enough these days for some people. Next time you do a craigslist you should probably put "delivery not available" or "you must pick up" in the ad. Sometimes you gotta spell it out lol

So how long of a drive was it Red? Did you have to hook up the cable too?

I'm so happy the TV situation worked out well. A lady who only had a 19" TV got it. She was so thankful.

I once advertised a bedroom set on Craig's List. Not free though. One lady called me and asked if delivery was included in the price. I told her no. She got angry and told me it should be. Then she said she didn't drive and I should deliver it. I told her I don't drive either. She told me I should make arrangements for delivery. I told her goodbye.

It certainly is. If someone is getting something off Craig's List they are looking for a bargain to begin with. Asking for more is really rude.

I had no trouble selling my bedroom set to some nice people with a truck. There was no reason why I should have accomodated the lady who wanted me to deliver it to her. Especially because I didn't have the means to do so.

I used to buy dvd boxsets of tv series... and then resell them. I had done this many many time... especially with law and order and west wing. never had a problem... then one guy writes me SCREAMING LIKE THIS... that he did not get the episode insert with his dvd set. im one of those people that even if i had it, i would probably have thrown it away-- there is no need for it.. the epis are printed on the box & the dvd. I offered to refund some of his money and he insisted i take it back---- oooookkkk. the damn insert was really THAT important to you??? come on

Interesting. If I ever try to sell something on Craig's List, I guess I'll know to be very specific about shipping detail.

The california guy turned out to be a scam. You have to be specific and even leave a phone number so they can call you back. If you just give an e-mail address they will just scam you.

I have an old TV that I need to get rid of. Perhaps I should just donate it to the Salvation Army.
