| I have always preferred to reflect on the passing of another year privately, without any outside fanfare or even acknowledgement.
However, I have had to endure everyone giving me gifts at work - seems the birth dates are sent to supervisors and the CEO sends out a card. (He knows I don't like him - I told him to save the card & postage and last year I didn't get one).
Anyhow, I work with several Russians and my B'day is the day after the Russian Revolution so they remember it. | |
