With the summer being a bit on the extreme side, do you leave your AC running even when you're away from home; or do you always turn it off when you're not there?

I just have a window unit and turn it off when I leave the house.

Ours is forced air, we set the temp and leave. If it comes on while we are out it will be pleasant when we get back.

If I am going to be away from home for many hours then I turn it off.

Nah that's wasted money. The walls and the floors don't need the air conditioning. It's off when we not there.

Off when nobody's home. If I'm home by myself, I will only turn it on in living room, when I feel it's necessary.
