When you sign in to your account, does a page come up saying you need to upgrade your security because 'passwords aren't enough' and now they want your phone number and stuff? This comes up EVERY time I sign on and I'm getting sick of it.

i think it is my gmail account that asks for a phone number from time to time--- not every time.
yahoo however had a security breach this week in which hackers were able to steal 500,000 passwords from email accounts... and yahoo put blocks on all email accounts/messenger until you changed your password. Hope this helps

I have a Yahoo account and what WTL says is true, my e-mail was hacked into and a message was sent out from my address book. I had to change the password before I could log in.

Yes and I always skip it. I don't feel any need to add my phone number to my email.
