    Do you think that mechanics (such as changing oil, tires, etc., etc.) should be something taught in Drivers Ed?

    I don't see any harm in it. It's a shame how many people drive a car and don't know the first thing about maintaining it. I can change a tire, change the oil (although I won't) and other basics.

    Maybe, but definitely yes to teach how important it is to keep up maintenance on your vehicle and get it serviced as need be.
