    Question Have You Ever Asked Your Doctor About a Drug Advertised on TV?

    You know those drug commercials advertising prescription medication...telling you about all the benefits this drug has to offer and how it can help with this or that...then at the end they say that it can only be prescribed by a doctor and to ask them about it.

    Have you ever asked your doctor about a drug advertised on TV?

    Ironically, my PCP is an internist and I am leery of most drugs, usually have bad side effects.

    However, I did ask him for a script for sildenafil citrate - which is advertised on TV.     Blue Cool

    Not yet, but I fear the day that I'd have to ask my physician for a prescription of ED medication.

    Aaaaaargh! When I was a health insurance claims adjuster, I used to have people call me up demanding I pay for the drugs they saw on TV even if their doctor didn't prescribe it! People are nuts!
