Tony, the 19th tropical storm of this over-active season, has formed in the Atlantic.
Nothing personal, but Tony is spinning its way to obscurity. While it stirring up the ocean but is unlikely to make any memorable waves to add to the annals of weather lore.
Its peak winds this morning were around 50 m.p.h., and the National Hurricane Center doesn't expect them to become any stronger.
This morning is was way out there in the central Atlantic and moving toward the east.
It poses no threat to the U.S. East Coast; unfortunately, the same can't be said for its Atlantic partner, Sandy.
We'll have a Sandy update shortly.
