BC had the strongest earthquake in 60 years last night, 7.7. Hubby was in this room and his chair moved he thought he was getting sick. Then he noticed that our blinds were swaying. I didn't feel it but when he told me I thought maybe the town had some sort of explosion as I too saw the swaying. We have several local news sites available to us so we started checking, the least well known of the internet sites was first with the news. Then there was a tsunami warning and people were being evacuated from their homes at the coast.
We live inland and while we could feel or see the shaking we weren't affected at all. We got a good nights sleep. A lot of people didn't.
