    Earthquake (1974) Earthquake

One of the classic all star disaster movies of the 1970s, have you seen this one?

I liked those too, the sequels (corny though they may be) more so than the first one, I don't get why a big deal was made over the first one.

I came across a trailer for Earthquake which may explain some for anybody who hasn't seen it:

I haven't seen it in a very long time but my recollection is that it was kind of corny.

Some of the effects are very telling, like the animated blood when the elevator crashed, but for the most part...I don't know much about earthquakes but I think it looked very realistic. I noticed during the fire sequences it looked similar to The Towering Inferno.
