Hi Everybody,

This movie is really a downer - but it's still a good movie, it just can be a very sad movie at times. Frank and April are both trapped in their married life together and in their work (Frank working at Knox and April as a housewife, neither position they can stand.) Against convention, they plan to move to Paris where she will work outside the house and he will not work - much to the ridicule of their friends. Their plan doesn't follow through and they're stuck where they were in the first place - 1950's America. With two kids and a third on the way (a third child they don't want), their marriage spirals downward into massive fights and extramarital sex with a dramatic ending that leaves the family beyond repair.

Has anyone else seen this?
