| If you've seen this movie, what did you think of it? I finally got around to renting the DVD, saw both theatrical AND extended versions, and most of the people who review it got it right: it's an okay action movie but it is NOT the A-Team, if you've seen the show, no, doesn't come close at all. Much praise to Sharlto Copley for trying to keep Murdock closer to the original, I hate to think what it would be like if he hadn't done that, he was the best thing about the movie. Oh and whoever had the bright idea for Sosa's character, how much were they drinking? Oh yeah and on another note, regarding the character of Lynch - Spoiler:
or whoever the hell he really was
this prick makes the original from the TV show actually look competent, now that's scary.

| I saw the movie & have the DVD. It was an OK absurd action flick.
I never watched the TV show so there's nothing to compare. I got to see it free-standing without any pre-coceived notions about who the characters were supposed to be.

Well there might be something to that one but it's only because I'm a fan of the TV show that I ever decided to see this movie. It certainly didn't get my interest purely on its own merit.

He legally had his name changed to Mr. T because that way when people address him they automatically have to show respect and address him as Mr. unlike his brother and father and grandfather who were all 'boys' when people spoke at them. His real name is or rather was, Lawrence Tureaud. But boy I would love to see what he would do if somebody actually did address him by his birth name.
