Saw it yesterday. This was not a re-make, its a continuation from when Sally escapes the house. It starts off showing the original Actors being killed off by the original leatherface including Sally's survival in the end.

Sheriff then comes to get Jed Sawyer (Leatherface) (Funny in the re-make from 2003? it was Hewitt) and the family is going to surrender him until a mob arrives and decided its best to torch the house with the family in it.

After the flames die down a man and woman from the Mob find a woman and child survive (Loretta Sawyer). They take the child (a girl) kick the woman's face in and keep the child.

Flash forward to 2012 Heather (the girl from Percy Jackson and the Olympians) finds out she is adopted and has ineherited an estate from her maternal grandmother. So off her and her friends go to Texas to see the house. The rest of the story is up to you if you want to see it.

The 3D was horrible, totally blurred during most of the movie and it was not playing in 2D. My opinion, wait for cable if you are even mildly interested.
