Warm or Cold Bed? Empty
PostSubject: Warm or Cold Bed?    Warm or Cold Bed? EmptyWed Jan 09, 2013 1:54 pm

I am not a fan of heat in the house as many people on here know, I never have been and probably never will be, one thing I do like though is getting into a cold bed, I am not sure why, I just do, I dislike a warm bed and find climbing into a cold bed a very pleasant thing to do. My Tempurpedic mattress is always cold when I climb in bed, especially in winter. How about yourself? Do you have an electric blanket? Do you wear many layers to bed or very few layers? Does being warm the minute you get into bed make you happy and content?

I wouldn't know because I've never been warm getting INTO bed in my life. A few years ago my mom tried getting me a set of flannel sheets, it wasn't AS cold but it wasn't worth the trouble either, I like it being cool when I get in, when it's cold weather I know it won't be for too long.

In the summer, I don't mind if it's cool under the sheets when I get in bed but in the winter? Nope.

i like it warm. Electric blankets are something that does help my insomnia. There are times when i can turn it up to HI, and wrap myself like a cocoon... and off to sleep i drift.

Guess I can never sleep with you then Tony. I DO NOT like the cold. My bed needs to be warm and comfy. I don't have an electric blanket (don't really need one) but I sleep with a comforter all year round.

I like it warm in cold weather. In fact, a few years ago, Jay bought me a warming pad for the mattress. I don't use it anymore because I am too cheap to pay for the electricity, but I LOVED it.

Ah but it does not stay cold for long once the body heat penetrates then it warms up!!!! I mean just initially jumping into the bed for those first 5 minutes. big grin

I am naturally warm especially at night so I appreciate a bit of cold when I get in the bed.

I'm like you Tony, not a fan of heat. I keep it nice and cool in my room, when my roommates have heater on, I keep my vent covered. Only if it gets really cold I will uncover and let heat through.
