I live in NYC. Best tap water I've tasted. Screw bottled (no pun intended).

We have a reverse osmosis for a second tap so we get the water without all the crap in it, and I've seen my dad clean out water softeners, so I've seen how much crud people unknowingly drink, and as my mother pointed out, no wonder so many people have kidney stones. Now bottled water vs. reverse osmosis tap water, bottles are more like for having on hand during the summer, the rest of the time it's the tap.

Manhattan has better tasting water than Long Island. My water tastes like bleach so I never drink it, I drink bottled water.

Not really. My tap water is pretty good...but I do buy the gallon jugs from time to time for convenience.
