    Some people consider this organization to be controversial, and akin to a 'hate group,' because of its hard stance on traditional marriage being protected (while vehemently opposing gay marriage.)

    What's your opinion, do you consider the AFA to be a hate group?

    If I called them a hate group, I'd have to lump a LOT of leftist groups in with the "hate group" label. I tend to see the left as a bunch of intolerant bigots who call any group that promotes values opposed to theirs a "hate group." The people who break out such labels most often wouldn't know a real hate group from a patch of grass.

    I don't really have an opinion on the AFA. Probably wouldn't ever even pay them any mind if the left didn't always give them free attention.

    This guy sounds exactly like the Taliban, except he quotes Paul instead of Mohammad.

    Every notice how many "christians" never reference Jesus - just quoting Paul. Fact is these AFA "christians" are actually paulists and have no idea of what they are preaching.

    I don't know enough about them either to make a judgement call, but "traditional" family groups tend to paint themselves in a corner, so maybe.

    I dont know a lot about it, but if they have a hard stance against gay marriage and make anything other than a male and female marriage and their children the "ok" family... then yes, I'm completely against views like that and organizations which support hatred such as that.

    never heard of them. but IMO let them talk about whatever they want... as long as the groups arent violent. That is what america is about... you scream you think this is right, i scream i think that is right... as long as everyone is safe.

    But i do agree with FM... i think BOTH sides of most issues, not just gay rights, abortion, death penalty, gun control, etc can get extreme to the point of hate.
