What do you like most about being your age?
Is it better or worse than the age you were 10 years ago?

I'm old enough to do anything I want and young enough to still enjoy it all. And it's VERY much better than 10 years ago because I'm out of school, I don't have to go to bed at a certain time, I can drive, my hair is short just the way I like it, and I have a life, compared to 10 years ago I've gotten out and done so many things.

At 38, I know who i am, what i want, and how to get it. I dont take shit from anyone and realize that if they are giving me shit, they arent worth my time. I lived most of my life without them, so another few decades wont kill me if they leave.

i've experienced some wild things, met some interesting ppl. The toughest part is actually meeting eligible men to date... seems like all i meet are "married, married, gay, jobless, homeless, married gay". and if they are single, it turns out that they are in arears in child support for tens of thousands and their kids hate them.


Ten years ago... I was just getting my freedom back from my divorce... traveling every three months, and doing adventurous things. but i was with an alcoholic that was difficult. so i guess things are in general better now. I miss my sister tho...

Nothing really. My age 10 years ago was better. I guess the only thing about being 29 is that my car insurance is cheaper. At least, it SHOULD be. I still haven't reaped the benefits of that yet.

I'm old enough to know better but still young enough to do it anyway.

The only thing good about my age is that I'm closer to official retirement.

The sex is better than ever

At 46, I'm more at peace with myself than I ever have been in my entire life. I've accepted and dealt with many things, yet also am looking forward to the rest of what life holds for me, and hoping that it includes some dreams I have and wish will come to pass for me.

Being an early thirty-something (although the 'early' part is starting to slip away from me) is interesting because you notice that some of your peers still look like they're in college, while others are already looking middle aged. I guess the best thing about being my age is that my perspective is growing and I feel myself becoming more secure and settled, and at the same time I still feel I have that youthful energy, even if it is slowly fading. Ten years ago I may have been prettier to look at, but I'm in much a better place now.

Sounds funny, but I really like being smarter now. Ten years ago, I was high-strung and not the best person I could be. I'm still a work-in-progress, but I take things lighter now and am not so bitchy.

30 isn't so bad. I wasn't looking forward to it and was even sort of dreading it, but I can deal with this age. The balance between 20 and 40 is interesting.
