How much longer do you plan to reside at your current residence?
Have you given thought to where your next home will be, or where you would like to move to?

If we move it will be to the farm settlement in Central California. The acreage has been leased out to another farmer for many years and my brother earns a steady paycheck from it. I'm next in line for the property; however, whether we make the move has a lot to do with "when".

There are pros and cons to the whole plan.

I rent an efficiency just like the last 4 apartments I have rented on Miami Beach. I won't move unless something bad happens at this complex that I can't live with.

I sometimes think of relocating, but then consider where I can ride a bicycle and wear shorts and flipflops year round.

I would eventually like to re-locate to the western part of the country, Nevada, California Desert or Arizona. No more house, Condo next time around.

Tony, have you stayed in those places?

I really think you would miss the ambience of NYC very quickly out there. I have a friend who relocated to Phoenix. He's back in South Florida again. You would be surrounded by right-wing nuts (who always vote that sadistic fascist Sheriff Joe Arpaio into office) and rubes who didn't have a clue to any other lifestyle than their own.

Prob. for a while. I got a good deal here.

Next place I move to will hopefully be my house. I was thinking upstate NY, but I don't know if I really want to end up there. I DO know that I want to be out of NYC.

LOL, I've lived in mine since 1972(my whole family lived here but they've all moved) and I have no plans to move. Maybe when I retire years from now.
