| Should parental consent be required for underage pregnant females to have abortions? Moreover do you think that a parent should have the legal authority to decide whether or not the girl terminates the pregnancy or delivers?
Same question for adoption too....Should a parent be able to force their 16 year old daughter to put the child up for adoption?
When it comes to underage girls pregnancies and their babies, how much control should her parents have over the final outcome?

| The Abortion Industry will say: Parents cannot stop a child from having an abortion but they can force her into one. (Whatever results in the abortion)
I say the opposite: A girl should not be forced into a procedure she doesn't want, especially one like this. But being underaged, she shouldn't be able to do it without parental consent. I mean they can't give her an aspirin for a headache without parental consent but they can give her an abortion? Sounds dumb to me. So yeah, can't force her into an abortion but she needs parental consent to get one before 18.
As for adoption, that one is totally up to the girl but if she wants to keep the child, she seriously has to consider who will be taking care of him or her. Here parents have less of a say, even if they aren't totally irrelevant in the equation.

Yes.

Yes. If she doesn't want to, then that's an issue that she has to convince her parents on. It's all up to the relationship she has with them. Until you're 18, they pretty much own you.
Same question for adoption too....Should a parent be able to force their 16 year old daughter to put the child up for adoption?
Until you're 18, they own you. They're legally required to take care of you....not your baby.
When it comes to underage girls pregnancies and their babies, how much control should her parents have over the final outcome? Again, the relationship with your parents would ultimately be the deciding factor. In most cases, an underage girl who is pregnant....whether she has the kid or not.....she and her parents are on the same page. If she's adamant about doing something and her parents aren't, it's all well and good......just don't cry foul when they're not there to support you.

When it comes to underage girls pregnancies and their babies, how much control should her parents have over the final outcome? Parents should have complete control over their teenage daughters pregnancies. You hope that they would temper that control with love, rational and consideration for what the girl wants too, but ultimately it is their final decision how the situation plays out. If they want their daughter to abort, put the child up for adoption, or to keep it and raise it amongst the family, then that is their call.

| I believe a parent should have the right to command an abortion if she is going to continue living under their roof, but on the flip shouldn't have the right to stop the girl from making the decision to terminate her pregnancy if she wants | |

| Her body, her choice.
If she wants to abort the baby, fine. If she wants to put it up for adoption, fine. If she wants to keep it, fine. The parents should have absolutely no say in it; it's not their child that they're killing or taking care of.

How is that fair? It's only "her body her choice" if she wants to terminate. That is pretty much a view supporting the idea that "Pro Choice" is really not true.
