Would you send your kids away to school; like to a boarding school? Me, I wouldn't. I just couldn't be content with my child not in the same overall vicinity as I am.

Re: Boarding schools
Depends on the situation. Most likely, not at all. I wouldn't actively seek out boarding school. But if somehow it's presented to me, my kid got a scholarship or my kid has an exceptional talent in something and the school caters to that, has an impeccable reputation and academics and all that good stuff, then I would definitely consider it. Hell, I'll be sending my child away to college eventually, I'll just be getting used to the idea sooner.

Re: Boarding schools
I would have a hard time doing that. But as NY said, if it was a school that would help him further excel in something, I would consdier it. But, I would probably move to that city also!

Re: Boarding schools
What is the general idea of boarding schools? That they keep the kid for 9/10 of the year and the kid comes back on weekends and holidays and stuff?
