December's a very popular time for birthdays, at least in my family: my brother and middle sister were born a day (and about 20 years) apart the week before Christmas. My niece also has her birthday on December 8th.

Very busy; we didn't anticipate those nine months moving as quickly as they have. Like trying to play Beat the Clock. We've been buying things by the bulk, and am set to go shopping again this Saturday. I don't remember it being like this the last time.

Chris, I think I have mentioned that I had a friend due around Cat's due date. Yesterday, she had her obgyn appt. and he said that she wasn't going to deliver within the next couple days. But they would induce next Wednesday. I got a text at four this morning that she went in at 8 last night and had delivered. Not sure what time, but so surprising, given what the doc said yesterday.

Has anyone else noticed that the random advertising at the top of the page isn't really so random? Frequently I see stuff up there relating to subjects I was recently searching for elsewhere on the Internet. Today for example, I was researching portable steam cleaners and low and behold, they've been appearing in an ad for Overstock.com. Of course not everything I search for ends up there. Are any of you thinking of renting a car from Hertz?

Yep. I was looking at my AMEX account and now it seems AMEX adverts are on a lot of pages I visit. There's one at the top of this page right now. Those fucking spybots are annoying.
