I've gone into my profile, clicked on the "avatar" tag, clicked on "browse" selected a .jpg image that is 200 pixels in width and 150 pixels in height and is 34KB, clicked "save" and my avatar does not appear. What am I doing wrong?

I got the same problem and haven't figured out how to post pictures in forums yet either. Maybe we'll both get answers

Hmmm. I'm not quite sure. Is the avatar you have now the one you want to keep, or was the another one you wanted to use? What you can do is upload the image with the "Host an image" icon above (one with the picture and the disk), then copy the link to the "Link to an off-site Avatar" in your profile. If that doesn't work, send me a PM of the URL and I'll manually go in and tinker with your avatar myself. Same to you el Rio.
