How many languages do you speak?

One. I also know a few Yiddish words and a little Spanish, but that's pretty much it.

Two (actually 3). I can speak English of course, but I also speak a little Arab and Italian (but not fluent in either). That's why I say 2. 100% English. . . 50% on the other two.

I speak English. But tomorrow, I begin my Spanish classes. I am so excited. Nothing like being fluent to increase business. So, since I actually retained quite a bit from high school, I am beginning with Spanish 2. I am nervous that it may be over my head. I shall see...I tested out of Spanish 1, so it should be ok.

My intention was starting the winter semester at the college, but our Literacy Center has Spanish classes, and that is perfect for me as I plan to volunteer in the ESL program when I am fluent.

English and a little bit of French (some of my mom's distant family is French speaking.) Took Spanish in high school, but that was high school. Aside from a few sporadic words here and there, I have pretty much forgotten most of what I learned (which wasn't much anyway.)

I've studied Hebrew, Spanish, Russian, French and Japanese. I was conversational in Hebrew and French, fluent in Spanish and Japanese. The only foreign language that I remember and can still speak and understand is Japanese, although it's getting a little rusty as well.
