Satellite or Digital Cable? Empty Satellite or Digital Cable?

Which one do you prefer, cable or satellite?
I'm more partial to the former.

Cable. Although I hear it's gotten better......I don't want to have to deal with any outages when the weather is bad and I want to watch t.v.

I can only relate to digital cable. I've thought about satellite but have heard so many negative things about lost signals & customer service or the lack of it. At least I know the cable company will fix whatever problems come up. My experience, anyway.

I never had cable but I heard it sucks. Satellite was okay but, well, it had issues. I like iPTV. It's got issues too but I think it has potential.

It's not so much a preference. I don't have the option of getting a dish so cable it is.

I considered satellite, but went with digital cable. For the most part, it just seems more stable. There are perks to satellite though, it costs a little less and they generally offer more channels. But the distorted signals in bad weather would drive me up a wall.

I have Direct TV HD Satellite and its great. Sometimes during a ferocious storm the picture goes out but its very rare. It has a lot of great channels and I was lucky I was one of the last customers to be able to get the local channels on the West Coast so if I miss something at 12, I can watch it at 3.

Satellite for me. Picture distortions are very rare with Direct TV and if it goes out completely, it's only momentary. Within minutes it's back up again.
