what is the biggest difference between you today vs. you 10 years ago?

We have talked about decades specific, but how are you different today vs. how you were ten years ago?

For me, the hugest difference is being far better off financially. I was head just above water ten years ago. Now, I am far from well off, but never have to sweat the small stuff, financially.

Needless to say, I have a much better head on my shoulders at 34 than I did at 24. I was a bit of a stupid girl back then, even as a mom.

I do not like at all being older, but enjoy being a much better person.

Well, between 56 and 66 you don't notice too much change.

Getting more reflective on the fact that I have more history than future.

Let's see, I was 11 so...I had more energy and more ambition, I exercised hard and was always trying to get up early...an exact opposite of how I am now.

I am more financially stable, I have more confidence in myself, I have a love of life that I did not have 10 years ago.

10 years ago I had no concept of what an orgasm was. Now I do! Like if much better at this age. :biggrin:

I can't binge on junkfood and stay skinny like I used to could.
I'm friendlier, more patient and less hostile.

I could tie my shoes. And I didn't NEED a babysitter. Mother gave me some anyway. But I wasn't ever the mischief type.

Much more independent. Ten years ago I was still in college and heavily dependent on my parents. Today if they want to see me, they knock on my door.

Not me. I knew what that was 20 years ago, lol.

The biggest difference between me now and 10 years ago is that I have become much more "worldly". I used to think that the whole world revolved around my own little life, in my own little neighborhood, in my own little city, in my own little country. Having been in the military enabled me to experience different cultures within the US (people from all walks of life). And it's also enabled me to travel around the world a little bit and see life outside the US. I've gained so much more knowledge of different cultures and societies and been able to experience more and look at my own society from an outside vantage. It's helped me to view many things in a much broader perspective than I could 10 years ago.
