Like them both but if forced to choose one, gotta go with Pacino.

Re: Robert DeNiro vs. Al Pacino
DeNiro x2
I don't care for Pacino. He's too intense and "dark". He ALWAYS comes off as negative in his roles.
DeNiro is more versatile. He can play a thug in one movie and then do comedy in the next.

. Pacino is a great actor of course, but I'll definitely take DeNiro over him anyday. He's had more memorable roles IMO. And he's the better film maker. Plus, he likes chocolate.......lol.

Re: Robert DeNiro vs. Al Pacino
For me both of them are passed their primes. They're in some of my favorite movies but I think they've become caricatures of themselves recently. Righteous Kill was a disappointment for me. My wife still drools over Pacino though. He’s the one man she has my permission to be unfaithful to me with . I was able to take her to see him when he appeared in American Buffalo on Broadway.

They're both solid actors, but Pacino is slightly better. DeNiro is more likable though.

Re: Robert DeNiro vs. Al Pacino
Agree with DeNiro being more likable on screen, but Pacino movies have a higher likelihood of being better overall.
