What is your race/ethnicity?
How many friends do you have of other races/ethnicity's?
Have you ever dated outside your race (if you haven't, would you?)
In general, do you think you relate better to people in your own 'group,' or does it mostly depend on the person?
How is your family on race relations? Any bigoted or racist relatives?
Have you ever harbored racist or bigoted feelings toward other race/ethnic groups, but later realized that you were wrong?

It really depends on the person and how long I have known them.
How is your family on race relations? Any bigoted or racist relatives? Yes there are a few idiots in my family but most of my family is ok about it.
Have you ever harbored racist or bigoted feelings toward other race/ethnic groups, but later realized that you were wrong? Not really, I learned on my own at a young age that there is good and bad in every race.

I haven't but wouldn't be opposed to it. Truth be told, where I live is very WHITE so there you go.

It depends on the person.

Yes. Some on my dads side don't make that much of an attempt to mask their bigotry. I was never influenced by them though.

No but I probably have learned that sometimes it's not so much about what you say, but how you say it.

Mostly white, Northern European extraction - some Choctaw Native American

How many friends do you have of other races/ethnicity's?
I live in Miami Beach - almost everyone.

It ain't just race. Blacks here are from the US, S. America, Caribbean Islands with language divisions from French, English & Spanish. Of the same race as me but different ethnic are the Russians/Ukrainians and a couple Germans.

I have married outside my race.

Depends on the person. I don't think I have a 'group'

My mother surprised me with her racism when Brenda and I got together. My dad's side of the family is from Mississippi so I can presume racism - but I don't hang with many from that side of the family and they know not to express racism in my presence.

As a child I was influenced by the racism around me, but from teen years onward I saw the error of my upbringing and was the iconoclast.
