Have you ever competed with someone else for the attention, affection or acknowledgment of a certain person....or felt threatened by the attention someone was giving the other person?

Sometimes with my brother when I was younger...I don't think it's that I'm a competetive person, I just think I'm a bit self absorbed, and I hate saying that, actually I've never said it before, but it's true because I always want to know if somebody is talking about me, and what they're saying about me, and what the person they're telling it to has to say about me...I'm terrible when it comes to that kind of stuff.

Yeah sibling rivalry is a big one.

If I have to compete for someone's attention they should probably just hang onto it.

My younger brother and I used to regularly try and one up each other as kids.

I may have felt threatened, but I never competed. I'll sooner take myself out of the scenario before I start campaigning for someone's attention over another.
