Why didn't David just blurt out to Dorian about Clint the moment he had her on the phone? That whole scene was just plain stupid, the writers must really think that we are a bunch of morons.

Because that would have been too logical. The whole scene was like a Road Runner cartoon, all spastic and silly. The Olsen twins, David's talking about how he only has eyes for Ashley and how he hadn't been to a "white party" since...
I'm just so tired of his character. TW must have kind of 360 deal with ABC that allows him to get multiple paychecks from being on various shows, but I wish they would just keep him @ Desperate Housewives and leave him off OLTL. "David Vickers" was fine in the 90s, but today "David Vickers-Buchanan" is horrid.

Its the writers that have destroyed David they have turned him into a Campy almost Drag Queen on the show. Maybe if they made him more serious he would be more tolerable. I like the guy but don't like the campiness.

Honestly, I never liked David. Not even when he first appeared in 1994, back when he was messing around with Krista Tesreau's Tina, then did that debauched dance with a then teenaged Kelly, when she wanted him to deflower her. He's just annoying to me, always has been, and that's why I savor Clint's hostile attitude toward him. And I'll tell you what *really* irks me is how he and Viki have become BFF's. Makes very little sense to me, considering how he was introduced. First he was a fake Lord, then they made him a real Buke. *gagz*

David used to be good for comedic relief but the last few visits have left me liking him less and less and now I can't stand him. I have no use for him.
