| What do you think, is "Emotional Distress" grounds to sue someone for? Some argue no, but I say yes. If your attack or negligence has caused me to go come out of my skin with pain, worry or grief, then I'm adding that to the pile. | |

| I think it depends. Anybody can claim emotional distress over anything, but if there's evidence that this is a very real problem for the person in question, I say hell yeah. | |

| There is a huge grey area with that. I think that it is understandable as an add-on to a lawsuit but not a stand alone case. | |

| I suppose it has a place as part of some punitive damage award on a case by case basis. But gee…what about a loss of consortium claim?
