Undercover Cat series by The Gordons

Trilogy would probably be more suiting since there were only 3 books in the series written, but has anybody read these books that the first one was made into the Walt Disney movie That Darn Cat!? Naturally in the books, not being made specifically for children readers, the cat's real name is Damn Cat, which in the first book Undercover Cat, causes quite a stir when his owners try to inform the FBI that he's got the clue to a kidnapped bank teller. It's a very funny series, the funniest one I think was the second book, Undercover Cat Prowls Again, where Damn Cat has to have HERNIA surgery! How a cat gets a hernia is beyond me but it's funny as hell.
