Wendy's fries are disgustingly salty. I had Wendy's for dinner this evening and could barely finish them, it was like eating a heart attack.

The last time I had Wendy's fries, I had to temporarily live on a toilet bowl.

I don't go to Wendy's very often. When I do, I opt for he baked potatoe.

When it comes to fast food joints and fries, a person really has to tell them to go light on the salt. Otherwise they will jump your cholesterol by 10 points.

Since I like McDonald's fries the best, you got me thinking Cat. According to what I found on-line, a 5.5 oz size (large) of McD fries has 350mg of sodium and a similar size of Wendy's has 480mg. But then it occured to me that I usually see a large salt shaker by the fries station (at least at McD's) so I wonder if the sodium listing is for the frozen fries right out of the box and that number can increase greatly depending on who in the paper hat is working that shift? I know I've been some places where I thought the opposite...there wasn't enough salt to start. Oh, and you likely weren't "eating a heart attack". More like a stroke

I like Wendy's new sea salt fries. Maybe it's the way they were prepared where you got yours from, but they've never been too salty for me. Then again, I like my food to be thoroughly seasoned and I can't stand it when it's bland. So maybe my palate is different from yours. You just can't eat that every day.

Their new sea salt fries are delectable. Stopped there last week on my way home from work. Wish I had ordered two orders of them.

I haven't been to Wendy's since they started serving these. I just asked Mrs. Smithee and she agreed that they're pretty good.
