I've loved The Beatles since I was 8 years old! I have almost all their albums. They made an amazing transformation from pop musicians to psychodelic rock 'n' roll. Amazing songwriters. I also saw "A Hard Day's Night" - a great movie!

They must be included in the pantheon of Rock deities. I’m not saying they were the greatest, either as a group or individually but to deny their contribution to and influence of popular music is just silly. I began listening to them when I was 8 too. Of course that was in 1964. A Hard Day's Night trivia. Throughout the movie people say that Wilfrid Bramble, Paul's "other" grandfather is a "clean old man". This is a joke about his roll in the British TV show, Steptoe and Son, where he's refered to as "a dirty old man." Steptoe became the basis for Sanford and Son.

My all time favorite is "Hey Jude", to me it doesn't get any better than that. "Yesterday" is a very close second. Also like "Come Together" and "A Day in the Life". I like a lot of Beatles songs come to think of it, and am surprised that I don't have any of their greatest hits CDs.
