We follow 30 years in the life of Barney Panofsky (very good Paul Giamatti): Artist, TV Producer, Womanizer, Obsessed Hockey Fan, Alcoholic, Memory Lapse and Potential Murderer. Oh yea, Barney some how survives 3 marriages.


As the title suggest Barney has a strong need, although not always convincing, to tell his version, because of a tell-all bio.


This film almost works. Strong supporting cast: Dustin Hoffman, Minnie Driver, Rosamund Pike and Rachelle Lefevre, who offers interesting characters. Unfortunately, the films goes on too long, and loses steam during the final reel, but stll worth your time
