    My main line is actually a line. But it is long enuf to reach the BR if I have to sit for a while and am expecting a call. Otherwise my time in the BR is my own.

    Now I have talked to others who are on cells and I sometimes hear running water or a flush. My daughter uses me for a laxative, 'cause she invariably ends up going before we quit talking. blank stare @ you

    I usually put them on hold. Once I was talking on the phone with a friend and took the phone into the bathroom. Just as soon as my piss hit the water in the toilet bowl, my friend asks in a shocked tone "What are you doing?" The way he asked the question all appalled was hilarious.

    If all I gotta go is piss, then they can wait 45-120 seconds for me to go whiz, flush and wash. If it's more serious than that, then maybe, again maybe not....I guess it depends if I could maintain the convo without a lot of obvious grunting.

    I'm not much of a phone talker. Sometimes I'll let it go to voicemail just because I can't be bothered to deal with someone's chatter. Texting annoys me, too. I don't like being held hostage by someone's conversation.

    If it's important I'll call them back....otherwise, most of my friends know to reach me by email or Facebook if they want to communicate.

    So I guess the answer is no. It's rare for me if a phone call lasts longer than 2-3 minutes.

    I take the phone into the bathroom with me if I'm taking a bath. if I'm talking to my Mom, I'll take the phone in for #1, but my Mom's the only one I'd take in with me. Otherwise I hang up. I'll do other things on the phone, though - cooking and so forth. I try not to run water, as it can be really loud. with my Mom, though, sometime I'll just tell her I need to run to the bathroom and ask her to wait.

    I put them on hold, or call them back. I prefer to have me time in the bathroom, myself; but I know other people who tend to get so into their conversations that they can tear themselves away from it, even to relieve themselves.

    No I don't, only 1 time I spoke to someone while I was taking a shower, I put the phone on speaker because they insisted on talking so I started to describe what I was doing and they got all hot and bothered and had to hang up. Do you talk on the phone while using the bathroom? 273237
