Apparently some people think these are becoming a must in advertisement for published authors these days...and to really clench it, the trailers have to be 30 seconds because audiences don't have an attention span for minute long ads...well here's the way I see it, if they can't spend 60 seconds watching an ad for a book, they sure as hell ain't going to spend the 3 days or week or more to read it.

Now I personally have NOT seen any ads on TV promoting new novels coming out that sell me on reading any of them...of course that's not so much that the advertisement sucks, it's just that none of the authors listed are in my opinion any good, no matter how famous they are. So the way I see it, a little advertisement where you can get it doesn't hurt, but I've yet to see any trailers for books that interest me in them. How about everyone else?
