Do you think you're destined for great things?

I think just about everybody starts out with dreams of such but then it becomes largely about just trying to stay afloat through everything and people forget about what they had planned to do in exchange for what they have to do. And in the end for a lot of people it never amounts to much and even today there are plenty of people who are never going to get out of the town they were born in and amount to much. What about you? Do you think you're going to reach a point where you're better off than you are now?

I do, I have to, I've spent all my life planning to blow this popstand, see the world, make a name for myself, I have no intention of settling down here now.

For me, the definition of "great" has changed drastically in the last ten years. Before my son was very old, I was very focused on doing everything to become a success career wise. Now, I focus so much more on family and being "great" in that area.

I don't care if people look at me and marvel at how great I do my job nearly as much as it matters to me that people see me as a good mom, provider and citizen.

Hopefully. But in the meantime I strive to be content.

IA with Jason. Hopefully greater things await me (although I've been pretty blessed thus far), but so long as I can know happiness, that's great enough for me.
