Would you like the blue pill or the green pill?
The blue TA-65 pill will give you everlasting life; the red pill...well...we have no idea. We just found that in the back of the medicine cabinet. Maybe we should stick with TA-65, which, if some researchers are to be believed, turns back the aging process.
According to an article in the Aging Cell, scientists showed that TA-65, a natural telomere growth supplement, reverses aging. The Deseret News reports that a telomere is like a bookend on the long strand of DNA called a chromosome. It keeps the chromosome from fusing or binding where it shouldn't and plays a key role in cell division.
Sound a bit Benjamin Button-esque?
Skeptics say the pill's effects don't last long, earlier ones said it had a cancer risk, and that healthy lifestyles changes -- exercise, meditation, blah, blah -- does the same thing. (Yeah, but you don't have to do all that if you just have a pill!) Anyway, if you really want the pill, you can just pay between $300 to $700 a month for it.
Would you take it?
