Post by Tony Marino Mon Nov 21, 2011 2:29 pm

    Supernova:

I bought a little can of sliced black olives and made a grilled cheese sandwich with the olives. I am hooked, was one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I have ever had!! Thanks for the tip!

ROFLMAO! You're welcome. It's funny because everybody I talk to hates olives, they think they're disgusting, I love them in in sandwiches, and on burgers, and by themselves, they are great.

ARe you kidding? I love olives, black olives, green olives, I pop them in my mouth from the can or from the jar and I always put olives in my salad and even in my Chili! I am going to try a cheeseburger with black olives on top!

Yeah I don't get it, a lot of people think they're slimey or something, I've eaten them all my life, I don't get it, though Lindsey are definitely the best, they are the sweetest ones.

What kind of cheese did you use? I like to use Sharp, or Extra Sharp, Cheddar and Pepper-Jack.

I like a good American cheese, too. Once I tried a slice of Velveta with a cheddar but it was a mite too messy.

Yes! I like the cheese to be melty yet firm. We'll just leave the Velveeta to the nachos.

Now I'm getting hungry for a grilled cheese sandwich in spite of the spicy Thai noodles I'm eating right now.

Since you like nostalgia so much... i thought i would post this link to a book that i had when i was a kid. Another thread discussed the state capitols. This taught you to memorize the capitols, the order of the presidents and times tables... all by using pictures.

It was printed in 1979 and sold in an infomercial.

Did anyone else have one??? Ready Set Remember
