Many of us, I'm sure, will be barbecuing today. I'm curious to know, which cookout holiday is your favorite?

The day after July 3rd. Maybe because of the fireworks.

July 4th for sure. Its hot enough to enjoy a pool if there is one where you are going. Of course the fireworks at night too.

4th of July. Memorial and Labor Day aren't really celebrations around here....the get together today is gonna be a modest one.

Labor Day. My family cookout traditions were always Memorial Day and Labor Day. We hardly ever did too much for the 4th. Labor Day was the biggest one because the weather is the best. Just starting to cool down from the summer, so it's not too hot. My family always had a big Labor Day cookout in Pelham Bay Park every year.

In terms of the cooking out alone, I think Memorial Day because 4th of July, the menu's about the same but then we get to swim and spend the whole day setting off fireworks.

Totally agree with that. It was always fun at my house on July 4th. Mostly for the holiday, plus there's always a party since it's my sister's birthday as well on the 4th.
